How early should I get there?
The gates open at 5:30.  Come out and bring your portable BBQ, cooler and a picnic dinner for a fun tailgate party. No time to cook? Big Mamma’s catering is there with delicious hot food.

Where is the best seat?
There are two grandstands with great views of all the action. Alternatively, you can back  your truck up to the fence and watch the action with your friends & family. Please don’t climb on the fence.

Admission?

Admission is $8 per person or $25 per carload. A carload is 6 people or less. For each additional person over 6 in a carload, admission is $5 per person

Children under ten years are free.

Where are the rodeo grounds located?
The rodeo arena is located 1 mile east of downtown Carbondale in the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley.

The Rodeo is centrally located in between Glenwood Spring and Aspen. Look for the sandwich board signs around Carbondale directing you to the arena.

 If coming from Glenwood Springs on  Highway 82 make a right at the light at County Road 100 (Catherine's Store Road) and follow the road. The rodeo will be on your right. If coming from Aspen on Highway 82, make a left at the light on  County Road 100 (Catherine's Store Road) and follow the road to the arena. The rodeo will be on your right

What about parking?
There is parking on the rodeo grounds. Please carpool if you can and take advantage of our special admission of $25 per carload.

Should I bring a jacket?
The temperature cools down after the sun goes down, especially during the early part of the summer season. We recommend that you bring a jacket or a blanket to keep warm. A blanket can also be used to
keep you warm when sitting on the bleachers.

What happens if it rains?
The rodeo goes on even if it rains. As the arena gets muddier, the action can become even more entertaining to watch.

How long does the rodeo last?
Approximately two hours. Occasionally it may go a little longer.

Can I bring my dog?
No, dogs are not allowed at the rodeo. It is dangerous for your pet, as well as the rodeo animals.

Can I pet the animals?
Please do not go near the rodeo animals, especially the bulls. These animals are not pets and can be temperamental.

Can I take pictures/video?

Yes, the rodeo is fun to photograph. You will have a great time capturing the action.
